Well it was a busy week and weekend as usual! We were out and about a lot running errands, meetings and general housework. Friday I got my new glasses very stylish I may add! then we had lunch and went to swimming. Its been a tough week she has had the kids swimming 500-600 yards each day so Breven is working hard. Me not so much I sit and watch or direct kid traffic on the other end of the pool(which I like I get to know his teammates) Saturday Aubree and I went out and got her tap and ballet shoes just the two of us for some girl time! She loved shopping with me and even got lunch. The best part is when its just her she doesn't have to use the stroller or shopping cart in stores. We finished off the say with family time in the loft that evening because poor Brad had a back ache pretty bad(not sure why every ache and pain with MS you never know what to make of it) Sunday we went to church and Costco and a few other errands then chatted with a newer neighbor. Breven had a major scooter crash so he was in a lovely mood :( then we ordered in dinner and had family time. Today is Monday the first day of Breven's spring break and its not going to be a very exciting one my mom has been sick, Brad has out of town meetings so we are pretty much staying home. Does anyone ever feel guilty if you don't do something big or exciting on your kids school breaks? I feel bad 2 kids in his class are taking resort style vacations and my kids never have. I guess we have different priorities then some families because I have had many tell me vacations are necessary and to put them on credit cards and that's not how we roll! So I am working on something fun this week but its hard to do alone and on a small budget. I am also thinking about something to do during Breven's swim practices its 1hr 3 times a week and most days I sit there freezing and Breven gets distracted by me so I have to move out of his visual range. So I was thinking about taking up running 3 days a week instead of doing nothing. But here is the thing I have never run before? In school I did some pretty low things to get me out of running the timed mile(nothing dirty just not very moral lets say) then as an adult it was hard because unknown to me my deviated septum made it impossible to get enough air having me diagnosed with exercise asthma not lack of air. So with my nose fixed and my fitness level up I was thinking running may help me get over that last 3lb hump I have yet to pass! I am also looking to flatten my belly more.(but I have been told that some of it is tissue damage and muscle damage that only surgery can fix) So anyone with beginning runners advice or websites or plans please pass those along.
