My son the daredevil

We have been holding off all summer going to Soak City in Palm Springs because we had to wait for Brad he wanted to go too. We tried several times then I told him we are going on the 12th with or without you(am I not nice) So he took the day off and met all of us there(me, kids, and my mom)

Breven loves water and can swim and is 48in which means any watersilde without a life vest. So first we hit the open slides which he loved then the ones where you ride in an inner tube. Then the big huge pacific spin(he loved that all 3 of us in one raft was crazy! Then he saw it the huge 6 story(I believe) solid yellow drop slide and said "I want to go on that one" to which Brad and I said are you sure its so high? He said yes and Brad and I looked at eachother we have never even gone on that one ourselves let alone our 6 year old son! So I sent Brad with him first.

I sat and watched as my boys climbed the tower, waited their turn and then I saw it a little arm with a green flip flop hanging on his wrist it was my little man waving at me! I am sitting there thinking OMG he is going first is my husband nuts! There he was my little 6 year old boy sitting and waiting then he went! Like a shot he flew down the slide not being able to hold his arms and legs together to the huge splash at the bottom. I was expecting him to say he was done and it was too scary. But no he proved me wrong and tried going back to the top to ride it again.

Then of course I had to go with him for round 2. I couldn't keep my arms folded and whacked my elbow and got a huge wedgie! But my son was happy and stopped calling me a chicken! Then he went a 3rd time. Serious he was the youngest kid up there and there he was like it was not big deal going down this gigantic slide! That boy is too brave!
