Aubree at school

Yup it happened a day I was not ready for my little baby started pre school. She was such a big girl all dressed up(which was the first and last time that will happen the encourage free play and exploration so that means messy and they have a water/sand area)

We went in and took pictures and it was a mommy stay day so I spent the morning learning what the parent helpers do and the kids learned what they would be doing. It was fun she is in a 3 day a week class with 17 other kids for 3 hours. The moms rotate days working and bringing snack so I work in class 3 days a month and bring part of snack those days. The other part of being in a parent co-op is that this lowers the tuition rates.

She has been going for 2 weeks now and loves it. She never cries when I go which is great for me. She has learned a few things not too much she is only 3 and this is a play based school so academics are not pushed. She has learned some songs, some colors, how to play in sand, how to sit on the rug and how to serve herself at snack. They encourage a lot of Independence the kids even pour from a measuring cup their own water and drinks!

She is such a happy girl when she goes and is so worn out when I get her that most days she skips lunch and sleeps!
