Halloween 2011

This year I had to get a little creative. I hate to spend a lot of money on a costume that is worn for a 2 whole hours and then is too small the next year. So with that said after 3 years as spiderman the costume had to be handed down so Breven needed something cool and yet cost effective. We were going to make him a Lego brick but Brad didn't have time so Mom had to get creative. While out and about I got the idea that since one of Breven's favorite movies is Indana Jones and we already have the cool hat from Disneyland that it was a great costume idea. I got a pair of cargo pants that looked a little worn, and a white shirt(which I dyed the brown color with tea) and my mom bought him the whip at the costume store and she had a satchel("its not a purse its a satchel" Name that movie?) then I found work boots online used for $5 and we were set. When I was getting him dressed it didn't look quite right. I knew it Indy needed some 5'O clock shadow. So I hit my makeup drawer and used some black and brown eyeshadow on a makeup sponge to create the look and Indiana was ready to rock. He had a great time and people loved the costume and most people figured out who he was pretty fast!

Aubree got lucky our old neighbor has given us costumes from the Children's Place since she used to manage the store and got killer discounts. So I got out the dress had to buy a hat (the one that came with the dress was too small) and all she needed was a broom. We got her all ready and she practiced her witch laugh.
