Brad took the same 2 weeks off as the kids this year and it was so nice to have someone else home to help keep the kids occupied and not fighting!
We started the week with the boys going to the desert for boys day they had lunch, did some Christmas shopping and bought paint for Breven's room makeover. Tuesday Uncle Ken and Aunt Suzie came out and we headed to the desert for a ymmy lunch at cheesecake factory and some family time! Wednesday we all had a trip to the dentist Breven had his first cavities and Aubree had her first xrays then a cleaning. Thursday we did some commissary shopping and then I took Breven to start his fillings. Brad was painting off and on and cleaning and organizing. In the middle of all of this the kids and Brad were sick before vacation and I got it and it turned into bronchitis and I got to spend an evening in urgent care!
Saturday started our Christmas celebrations we had Brad's family over and then put everyone to bed for Christmas day when my parents came over.
The next week was more painting cleaning and putting the new toys away. There was also lots of playing outside in the unusually warm weather, Lego building, and music and dancing in the house while mommy and daddy cleaned.
This week it has been back to reality of school, work and workouts. It was a fun vacation and I hope Brad continues to take time off of work to celebrate Christmas and the vacation with us!
